Friday Update: Rowan's First Vacation

So Rowan had his first vacation last week. We all headed down to Ft. Walton beach to stay in my buddy Allan's condo which turned out to be the nicest condo that BP (or any of the Payne crew or the extended family that joined the Paynes had ever stayed in).  It was the best time frame (month wise) that BP had ever been to the beach.  Not crowded at all, not scorching hot on the beach but yet the water was warm enough to get in, and no lines for restaurants.  Rowan didn't seem all that excited about being there.  It just seemed like another day to him except that he was surround by sand now.  On the six hour car ride, Ro-Dawg gets an A grade.  Not an A+ because he got a little ill on the way down there thanks to the stinken B'ham rush hour traffic, but on other than that he was cool with a capital C!!!  Daddy BP is not sure where these kids are learning how to dial numbers at such a young age but BP found Rolicious on the phone with some 3 month old girl that he met at the beach twice this week.  Ro-Dawg said his sit ups paid off!!!

That is about all that happened in the Payne world.  Except for BP getting $500 worth of co-pay bills yesterday from the wound center that Erin went to.  BP was pretty angry to say the least.  No one told BP nor Erin that the wound center treated every visit like an out patient visit to the hosiptal which equals $125 co-pay each time.  Needless to say phone calls were made, one guy was hung up on, and an angry email was sent out.  Also needless to say, a $500 payment is also still going out to them.

Oh yeah, Erin's family from England (her dad's mom is from England) came and stayed 2 weeks in Arab.  One thing BP found random was one night they came over to the Payne house to eat pizza and we turned on the tele and guess what was on.......The Patriot.  So there were some Brits and Americans watching a movie about how the Americans wooped up on some Brit tail.  BP found it kind of wierd.  He wasn't sure whether to turn it and make the purple elephant that was in the room obvious or just let it stay on and wonder if the Brits were thinking dirty thoughts about Americans.  BP chose to let it stay on.  In realility, BP doesn't think the Brit's cared because they were just fun loving people...but still.  Anyway, they were hilarious.  BP could listen to Brit's talk all day.  **Disclaimer:  Add your British accent here - "There is nothing but rubish on the tele now days."  "May I have some mayonnaise for my fries please."  Needless to say if you didn't pull out your best British accent when reading those two lines then you just waisted 5 seconds of your life.
